Falafel

Oven or Toaster Oven Method:

  1. Preheat: Turn your oven or toaster oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line and Lay: Pop your frozen falafel on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil. Spread them out so they’re not too crowded.
  3. Bake: Let them bake for 15-20 minutes. Give them a halfway flip for even crispiness.
  4. Check: Peek to see if they’re heated and crispy. If they’re playing hard to get, give them a few more minutes.
  5. Serve: Once they’re ready, bring them out and serve them hot!

 

Pan-Frying Method:

  1. Oil and Heat: Drizzle a bit of oil (such as vegetable or olive oil) in a skillet and warm it up over medium heat.
  2. Fry Time: Drop your falafels in, leaving space for them to breathe. Let them fry for about 5-7 minutes each side until they’re piping hot and crispy.
  3. Serve: Once they’re done, place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any extra oil. Then, they’re all yours to enjoy!

 

Air Fryer Method:

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Fire up your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange: Place your falafels in the basket. Just one layer.
  3. Air Fry to Crispy: Give them about 10-15 minutes, with a basket shake at the halfway mark for an even tan.
  4. Ready and Serve: Once they’re hot and crispy, take them out and they’re ready to be devoured.

Ingredients

Chickpeas, coriander, cumin, lemon, parsley, cilantro, shallots, garlic, salt, pepper, baking powder and cardamom.
